This is gonna be a very interesting topic for you. Because here you gonna learn how to split and install larger PS3 PKG games file via USB. As you know PS3 Jailbreak 4.85 has been released for both CFW and OFW version. But jailbreak isn’t enough. Jailbreak allows you to install PS3 games via USB. The real game starts when you go to install the game of your choice. Whatever your console is CFW or OFW, in both condition PS3 support only FAT32 formatted USB drive and you can’t put over 4GB file on it.

Let’s make it easier for you so you can understand well whatever I’m trying to tell you. You jailbreak your PS3 console, well congrats. First of all, you will install any small game for your satisfaction. By small games, you will understand my meaning like Dragon Ball Z, Limbo or GTA SanAndrease. You’ll not go with GTA 5. Because GTA 5 game size is 18GB. So, the small game will install on your console quickly and smoothly. Then you’ll go for your chosen game. I’m sure that game size will be over 4GB. Well, you can’t install as you installed small games.

I don’t have any idea which jailbroken console you have. I mean to say CFW or OFW. You can transfer your game via LAN cable using PS3 FTP server and there are lots of other ways which I already shared with you. So you can have two reasons to be here. That they are not working for you or they are difficult for you. If both of these reasons are not there, then your knowledge is gaining. So, let’s see how it’s work.
